Posted September 09, 2019 14:37:56It all started when the owner of a gay Snapchat group noticed that the image he was seeing was from a friend who was in jail in Colorado.
The friend told police he had been involved in a gay porn shoot and had a gay lover.
He said he and the gay porn photographer were having sex, but his partner said he didn’t want to have sex, so the couple broke up.
It was after that that the gay photographer called police and claimed he was gay.
Police arrested the photographer and booked him for a felony count of engaging in an act of lewd and lascivious exhibition.
He was jailed and is currently being held in the Rocky Mountain Regional Jail.
The photo, taken by a man in his early 20s, quickly went viral and has been shared over a million times.
It has also made the rounds on gay dating sites like Grindr and OkCupid.
In a statement released on Friday, the Colorado Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation said that the photo was “a personal matter and does not represent the views of the department or its staff”.
The department also said it is “aware of the concerns raised by our LGBT colleagues and their families about this photo”.
It added: “The photo does not reflect the Department of Correction’s views and does reflect the views and values of our LGBTQ community.”
Gay news website Buzzfeed has also shared the photo, which shows a man with a beard and a hoodie.
Gay dating app OkCups has taken the photo and is planning to feature it on its app.
GaySnapchat, a gay dating app, said it was not responsible for the content of the photo.
