The Beatles: Rubber Soul, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, Let It Bleed, Revolver, White Album and Sgt. Peppers, along with many others have been covered in this space.
If you’ve been a fan of rock music for a long time, you’ll probably be surprised by the list below.
It is interesting to note that many of these albums have been on the charts for longer than any other AC/D material.
The Beatles’ Rubber Soul is on at #1, while Let It Blow was #5 and Revolver at #7.
Sgt. Pepper, however, is the only AC/DaB album on the chart to be on the Billboard 200 chart for the last 25 years.
Its not quite as long a reign as some of the AC/Rock chart’s top-selling albums are, but the Beatles’ “Let It Blow” and “Rock & Roll” are still two of the top-10 hits in history.
I am pretty sure I am not the only one who thinks of AC/AC as being the quintessential rock album, and I would argue that the band’s classic rock sound is still very much a part of AC’s catalogue.
